Top 3 Must Have Skill Sets:    

• Need bench experience with assay.
• The candidate must be able to perform molecular biology and biochemical techniques including protein detection via immunoblotting, RNA isolation, qRTPCR, and ELISA.
• Also should be able to perform basic cell culture techniques.

Day to Day Responsibilities:    

This will be a lab based position at South San Francisco. The candidate is expected to work in teams and partner with lead scientists to design, plan, prioritize, execute and interpret in vivo studies focused on exploring target biology.
Day to day responsibilities include RNA isolation from in vivo tissues and running qPCR analysis. Additional expression analyses include Western Blotting, ELISA and other colorimetric assays. Detailed record keeping is necessary.
