Top 3 Must Have Skill Sets:

• Commitment to lab safety and compliance through background in chemistry, biochemistry, or engineering
• Prior Lab experience (2 years as undergraduate researcher or post graduation)
• Education: BS degree in Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering or science
• Ideal: Prior Lab experience, chemistry background is helpful, strong communication skills and collaboration with other FTE's, EW's. Strong independent organizational skills

Day to Day Responsibilities:
    
Synthetic Laboratory Management

• Drive organization and productivity of facility through adherence to 5S principles
• Initiate work orders for equipment repairs, maintenance, installation, and removal
• Participate in regularly scheduled lab cleanout activities and safety walkthroughs

Equipment & Instrument Owner

• Coordinate preventative maintenance, calibration, daily system initializations, and repair service of equipment and instruments
• Maintain process & analytical instrumentation, lab automation tools, reactor equipment and stocking of parts/accessories
• Support laboratory/equipment software installations and upgrades/updates
• Maintain online tracking tool to manage instrument usage and operational status

Inventory Maintenance and Chemical Ordering & Shipping

• Order and organize laboratory reagents and consumables to support laboratory experimentation
• Generate purchase orders, chemical shipping documents, equipment orders
• Handle incoming/outgoing shipments of tools, ancillary processing equipment, and consumables and chemicals
