Assist with monthly budget updates and distribution to budget owners
Proactive resolution of errors in POs and/or invoices
Expert user of MyBuy purchasing system providing support and problem resolution to GPS&CI Budget
holders and Administrative Coordinators
Assist with Quarterly execution of Finance latest estimates and delivery to Finance
Coordinate with Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS), External Workforce Center (EWC) and Extended Sourcing Solutions (ESS) as necessary to appropriately follow policy and procedures
Assist with tracking and aligning budgets with Finance partners
Assist with process improvements, systems and methods to manage GPS&CI budgets
The Associate Project Management Global role based in Thousand Oaks, reporting through the Global Marketing function within Global Commercial Operations.
The Associate Project Management will assist the Lead in facilitating timely, transparent and accurate management of the Global Product Strategy and Commercial Innovation (GPS&CI) function’s OPEX budget.
Assist the Associate Project Management Lead to track budget, Purchase Orders, Invoice approvals and accruals. Assist with the preparation of the Quarterly Forecast reporting to Finance.
Responsible for entering Purchase Order (PO) requests into MyBuy, ensuring that all expense transactions are compliant with Amgen sourcing and Compliance guidelines, standards, and accounting principles.
Problem solves issues and escalates as appropriate to meet budget targets. Assist with budget entry and maintenance of the online budget tracking tools (PRE3).
