Associate HR Coordinator - AFP

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) - specifically Excel.

Day to Day Responsibilities:    
  • Review of biweekly payroll reports to ensure compliance with Amgen's retirement plans, assist with the biweekly funding process, collect and maintain data for metrics reporting, research and locate participants with unclaimed retirement plan checks, provide support with the creation of desk procedures, assist the Global Stock Plan team with quality control checks, record collection for Legal requests, submission of COBRA subsidy requests, assist Leave Administrator with LOA/disability documentation, special projects as assigned, assist with routine audits and discrepancy resolution.
  • Supporting Benefits, working knowledge of benefits.
  • General Administrative benefits - understanding. Oversees the vendor since benefits is outsourced.
  • 2 years of experience
  • Data processing/routine audits/documentation

Description:
  • Job Details: Works under general supervision to provide tactical support to the Benefits Team.

  • Demonstrated ability to work closely in teams to effectively complete assignments.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with outside vendors.
  • May, on occasion, provide procedural guidance to staff members and management. .
  • Contributes to process improvements and developing solutions to establish best practices.
  • Skills: professional administrative experience, preferably in Benefits; strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) - specifically Excel; ability to maintain and handle confidential information; must be able to prioritize workload, multi-task and work well in a team environment; must have excellent written and oral communications skills; must be detail oriented and have excellent proof reading skills.
