Directly collaborate with the assigned US medical teams leads; establish and manage the newly formed team in support of the assigned oncology assets.
Ability to partner with US medical leads in establishing and communicating insights established by the team.
Stakeholder management in preparation of decision-making regarding the assigned assets
works directly with ~2-3 US Medical leads in support of a fast-moving set of oncology programs in their early stages within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and cost, to deliver specified requirements.
These assets are considered high-profile within Amgen.
Responsibilities include collaboration between the US medical organization and the global development team - the focus of the assignment is the delivery of insights from the US medical area to the global team to enable the global team to establish a strong development plan that meets the requirements for the assets to be successful in the US market.
Regularly interacts with the US medical team leads and with the global development team.
Coordinates and directs the activities of the US medical project team members that consist of several medical functions; ability to work with highly matrixed teams; also likely engagement with the US marketing/access teams. .
Ensures all project requirements and/or objectives are documented. May obtain and manage external resources required for project completion.
Expertise in running medium to large scale projects ;
Excellent understanding of project management processes and procedures ;
Experience with project management and best practices ;
Strong analytical skills with the ability to ask probing questions;
Business process development best practices, change management ;
MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel skills ;
Understanding of systems for sharing and collaboration ;
