Associate Project Mgmt Coordinator AFP

Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • They will be onboarded and be meeting several stakeholders in order to ensure success.
  • Ideal candidate - 5+ years of experience in project coordination and support in a corporate environment. Previous Amgen experience a plus. Experience working in Human Resources.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
  • The Project Management Coordinator supports multiple leaders within Talent Management, reporting to the Sr. Manager of Executive Development.
  • The coordinator will support multiple executive development programs, including logistics, communications, developmental assessments, customer service, and reporting.
  • The coordinator works closely with the team to support administrative needs, assist in project management, communicate with HR colleagues, and ensure appropriate processes are in place to streamline and execute work in an effort to execute global Talent Management team initiatives.
  • The coordinator is responsible for independently leading complex projects, providing project management with fast-paced projects and programs, and coordinating onsite/ offsite meetings.
  • They will be responsible for managing and tracking budgets and provide oversight of vendor contracts and invoicing, as needed.
  • They may serve as a project team member and attend core team meetings to ensure an understanding of issues and open items with regards to Talent initiatives.
  • The coordinator will also assist project leads in partnering/liaising with key collaborative partners (e.g., Corporate Communications, HR PMO, Global Learning & Performance, HR Operations) to drive implementation of Talent processes and tools.
  • They will also be responsible for project tracking (i.e., budget, database, timelines), as well as demonstrating the ability to interact with various levels of internal leadership and external vendors.
  • They will further be responsible for developing and maintaining team SharePoint sites, including site layout, content development, and access.
Basic Educational Requirement:
  • College diploma
  • Experience processing invoices in accounts payable system
  • Project management experience
  • Experience managing and tracking budgets
  • Experience managing contracts and vendor relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
  • Able to shift gears and work effectively despite ambiguity
  • Must be able to recognize and reorganize priorities
  • Proactive thinking and able to identify potential issues, track action items, and look for areas of continuous improvement
